A WEBQUEST                                                                      






A webquest is an activity that offers students an information search on the Web as a task to acquire knowledge on issues related to their interests.The webquest is one of the most comprehensive educational activities that can be done with the tools provided by new technologies. With it you get several objectives:

1. Find and acquire knowledge on the Web.
2. Getting used to the handling of new technologies.
3. Communicate and discuss ideas with other people and other groups.
4. Group work in the most effective and attractive.
5. Develop intellectual and communication.
6. Learning to organize a task or project.
7. Synthesize the content extracting important lessons learned.
8. Expressing yourself creatively.

In my opinion a webquest has advantajes: it can be used in different educational levels. also it has a variety of uses. for example; areas of research, task analysis, and creative production task.For me, there is a disadvantaje like this tool should be well designed and it does not become just a lot of questions.

This is the way to learn something more easy. I have learned that alternative assessment is based on authentic tasks when the students and teacher focus on communication. Also,  the students have the opportunities to assess themselves and their peers .With alternative assessment, students are expected to participate actively in evaluating themselves and one another. It is the best way to learn something for me.

 I learned to identify the advantages to use websites for oral/aural skills, for example: practicing on internet is attractive for the students where many students feel confident to speak, because they feel free to pronounce without feeling embarrased by their errors. Also, teachers can address different learning styles of their students through multimedia with pictures, sound, movies and texts. Another advantage is that in a normal teaching situation, it is impossible for teachers to repeat a phrase without variation in its utterance or repeat as much as the students want them to; however, when the students use this tool on internet, the same sentence can be repeated as often as is necessary for comprehension or perfect imitation; therefore, the controllability of the computer enviroment makes teaching and learning more flexible and personalised. IT IS VERY USEFUL FOR US...

In this week I learned how to can save my links with delicious. I learned how to use it. Now, I'm not going to forget my links because I'm going to save them in this pages. Delicious is the place when we collect our links. In addition to bookmarking a webpage, users tag the webpage. The tags are simply single word keywords that related to the contents of the webpage.T he tagging associates keywords with the webpage's content, marking it easier to categorize and classify the content of the page. I t's a great idea to save links.

In this week I have learned how to used DELICIOUS. This is my firts time I use it, I like it. I think this
is a good way to save my own links and I don't lose them. THANKS Miss Antonio....

 In this week I have learned that a wiki is where we can work individually or in groups and then communicate using email, wiki discussions, and wiki mail to collaborate with classmates outside their class. Also, we can generate conversations about    the class inside the walls of my room, it is very comfortable for us. Wiki is another tool which we can use in the future.

In this week i have learned different things, for example, how to search information using different webs. I always use google; however, now i can find another web to do my homework.
